The Manor leadership team consists of Barry Wicks, Sean Cotter and Jon Youl. They are supported by a specialist team of consultants and experts from various parts of the construction industry.
Barry is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has extensive experience in the Construction industry with major contractors and latterly as a consultant dealing with contractual issues and disputes arising out of building and engineering contracts.
As commercial Manager with contractors, he was responsible for various projects including offices, research facilities, military training facilities, airports, housing and schools. As a contracts consultant he has had conduct of and prepared numerous referrals to adjudication and has acted as a party representative in arbitration. He has also acted as an expert witness and has given evidence. He has also prepared many claims and defences to claims.
Jonathan is the founder and Managing Director of Manor Consultants. He has extensive experience within the Construction industry providing employers, main Contractors and sub-contractors with commercial and dispute resolution advice and also has significant experience dealing with bespoke construction and engineering contracts.
His expertise includes loss and/or expense, forensic quantum analysis, delay analysis, contractual interpretation and procedural matters. Jonathan also regularly represents clients in adjudication proceedings and is a Expert Witness and qualified adjudicator.
Sean focusses on resolving disputed projects across the construction and engineering industries where he focuses on achieving outstanding results for his clients. Sean is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has been awarded a Diploma in Construction Dispute Resolution and a PhD in Pure Mathematics.
Sean’s roles have included acting as an Expert Witness appointed by clients’ legal teams, acting as Mediator, acting as an Expert Advisor providing forensic delay, and as an Adjudicator under a Residential contract and also as a business to business contract
